SMS Text Messaging Program

Tell Me Again is a private, invite-only family storykeeping app. This page describes our optional SMS text-messaging program for carriers and reviewers — it is not a sign-up form.
How Opt-In Works
There is no public sign-up form on this page. You opt in to SMS activity alerts from inside the app, using your own mobile number, by actively agreeing on the opt-in screen: selecting the agree option on the web Welcome step, or checking the SMS consent box everywhere else. Nothing is pre-selected or pre-checked. Providing a phone number is not by itself consent to be texted — we store a member's number as ordinary profile contact information whether or not they ever agree to SMS, and nothing is sent unless the member agrees. Only signed-in members can opt in, and only for their own number. SMS opt-in is offered in three places: during Welcome / account setup, on the web and in the mobile app — on the web, on the step that asks for a mobile number, where a member selects either the agree option or "Do not use this number for SMS messages", and in the mobile app, when a member chooses text messages on the last step; in Account › Notifications, which always offers SMS opt-in, at any time; and in Account › Profile, right after a member saves a new phone number. Opting in is always optional, and you can skip it and opt in later.

This is the exact language a person sees and agrees to beside the consent box in the mobile app's Welcome, in Account › Notifications and in Account › Profile:
