SMS Text Messaging Program

Tell Me Again is a private, invite-only family storykeeping app. This page describes our optional SMS text-messaging program for carriers and reviewers — it is not a sign-up form.
How Opt-In Works
There is no public sign-up form on this page. You opt in to SMS activity alerts from inside the app, using your own mobile number, by checking the SMS consent box on the opt-in screen. Providing a phone number is not by itself consent to be texted — we store a member's number as ordinary profile contact information whether or not they ever agree to SMS, and nothing is sent unless the consent box is checked. Only signed-in members can opt in, and only for their own number. Account › Notifications always offers SMS opt-in, at any time. In addition, we may offer the same screen during Welcome / account setup once a member enters a phone number and advances; when a member saves a number in Account › Profile (subject to a decline rate-limit shared with other proactive offers); through a rate-limited reminder on the Hub Stories tab; or via a pinned reminder in the notification bell inbox that remains available while the member has not yet opted in and has not revoked. Declining a rate-limited offer stops that class of proactive ask for a period; the Notifications controls and the bell pin (when still eligible) stay reachable. Opting in is always optional, and you can skip it and opt in later.
Consent Language Shown at Opt-In
This is the exact language a person sees and agrees to on the opt-in screen, wherever that screen is opened from:
I agree to receive SMS activity alerts from Tell Me Again — when someone shares a story, answers your question, asks you something, tags you in a photo, or comments on your story. Messages are event-driven; frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
